What attracted you to TNBFITNESS/What motivated you to join TNB?

A dear friend Chris McCarthy had been encouraging me for years.  She said Tash and TNB Fitness will change your life Robin.  Like most working individuals my schedule is hectic and not a lot of time to take care of me.  I had gotten to the end of my rope…. not sleeping well at night, heart palpations, not handling stress very well and I was exhausted.  All other options had been tried and did not work – what did I have to lose? 

Then I had met another TNB Fitness member who said to me that TNB had saved her life.  I heard something powerful in those words that day.  It was more than just needing to be skinny and be fit as society wants us to be.  It is deeper than that – what was it about TNB that I continued to hear that would change my life?  What I have learned is that TNB is about me!  It is about TNB understanding what my body can do and create a program specific for me and my limitations.  No more “I have a bad knee or I have a bad wrist” – TNB knows how to work with your limitations to help you become a healthier and stronger individual – at your pace.

 

How do you feel now compared to when you started training at TNB?

There is no comparison.  TNB is a total program which focuses on your overall fitness – nutrition, encouragement and physical well-being.  With a renewed focus on what I am putting into my body and how my body processes what I eat…. “am I eating fuel or fat” – foods which help your body prepare for what you require of it on a daily basis – mentally and physically.   

Initially working with Tash on my nutrition has helped me heal in many ways.  While my body cannot tolerate gluten, changing my eating habits to more vegetables and fruits and drinking more water has enabled me to heal from the damage caused by gluten.  Eating healthier changes what my body craves and now my body craves what my body needs. 

TNB has your best interest at heart.  They believe in you and in what you can accomplish. 

 

How has TNB helped you reach your goals?

I really did not know what to expect.  It had been so long since I had focused on my health.  Watching my body over the years from hormonal changes – feeling defeated because of physical activities I was no longer able to do.  I have been so happy with how my body has reacted to my program!  Our bodies naturally want to move!  And my body was so excited to just be moving again!   My change in eating habits – more water, more vegetables, less processed gluten free foods have helped me to heal damage that has resulted from my gluten allergy – not to mention being able to lose weight.  My increased strength and flexibility for a broken wrist from over a year ago has really amazed me! 

When I first started TNB I was not in very good shape.  My only form of exercise was walking – which I love to do. But walking does not exercise your whole body.  With the program that has been designed specifically for me, I find my clothes fit differently, my body does not react to stress as it once did and I have more mental energy.  I sleep so much better, I don’t wake up in the middle of the night anxious and my heart palpitations have gone away.  Because of healthier eating I have new favorite healthier foods which I now enjoy!

 

What advice would you give to a person looking to join TNB?

Joining TNB is an investment in your health.  The financial commitment you make today, may very well determine what you spend in hospital bills and expensive medications in the future. It is an investment for your loved ones – knowing that you are doing everything you can to take care of yourself today so that you can be around for you loved ones years to come.

TNB is more than just a gym.  It is more than wanting to look great and being skinny.  TNB is about your mind, body and spirit.  It is about what you and your body can do.  It is about taking care of your physical heart and the heart of your spirit, about preparing your body to handle stress, becoming strong knowing that eating healthier heals more than just physically – but helps you think differently- to be a better you!
