TNB Fitness Member Spotlight-Marielle Suddarth, The Amazing 12 Transformation

 

Why did you want to go through the AMAZING 12 program at TNBFITNESS?

I wanted to go through the A12 program for a few different reasons.  I have never had a lot of upper body strength and that is something that I have always wanted to change about myself.  Additionally, I feel like a lot of women steer clear of weights, especially barbell lifts, and I wanted to break out of that stereotype.  Women can lift, and lift heavy, and not ‘get too bulky’.  I used to run on the treadmill for hours at a time and was never able to see the results that I wanted – but was able to with A-12.  Plus, it is much more fun and let’s be honest, it feels hardcore!

 

What goals did you accomplish during the 12 weeks?

I definitely gained more confidence going through the program.  It helped me focus on and improve my technique - which is great because it has helped me in my own coaching as well.   Additionally, I lost a pant size, was able to work my way up to a higher than bodyweight deadlift, and I am now able to do real pushups (I literally couldn’t do more then one before).  Overall, I am most excited about how much stronger I feel, I already want to do A-12 again.

 

How do you feel now compared to when you started the AMAZING 12 program?

Not to sound like a broken record - but I feel much stronger and more confident in my abilities!  I can tell I made improvements and I never want to loose them.  I also feel like my regular diet has vastly improved and I am incorporating the nutritional elements for the long term as well. 

 

What advice would you give to a person looking to start the AMAZING 12 program?

I would say do it!  I am so happy that I did.  It is hard, and there are days you might not feel like it, but it is such a rewarding process.  It is really something to be proud of and it will make you feel amazing.

A great challenge and I would highly recommend it whatever your fitness level is.  We all have different body types, goals, ages, past injuries, etc., but it is a very accommodating (though challenging) program.  I was a little worried about the lifts because I have scoliosis (a fairly extreme curvature in my spine) but with the way the program is written, and the correct technique, I was able to preform better than I ever thought I’d be able to.

If you are anything like me, you will need to budget a little extra for food, I ate more than my husband!

Additionally, if you are wanting to try something different than all the trending hot yoga, barre, boot camps, etc., that are out there promising to tone your body, do this.  Believe me, there is no way that you can go through this program and NOT see results, it is the real deal.
