How long have you been a member of TNBFITNESS?
Since September 2013
What attracted you to TNBFITNESS/What motivated you to join TNB?
It became clear my once a week trek to the street with the garbage can was not enough exercise to sustain a healthy life style. I was at a pivotal time, I could succumb to the signs of ageing with a hump on my back, borderline high cholesterol and taking medication for aching joints or I could make the decision that I was not going down without a fight. I chose to fight.
I talked to other trainers and checked out other places to workout, which made choosing TNB very easy. Tash’s knowledge of a more mature cliental was impressive and she knew almost by instinct what challenges were ahead of me and the trajectory to get me on the right path. It was a bonus that it was a place for women (except for Gabe) which made my decision easy. It is hard to imagine any place with more personal attention and workouts that evolve with you.
How do you feel now compared to when you started training at TNB?
It’s easy to make a hundred excuseswhy I don’t want to get up at the crack of dawn, trust me I have tried them all. But in the end, I know every time I climb out of my nice, warm- comfy bed my day will automatically improve. I know I am working to make myself feel better - both mentally and physically.
With the coaching help I have received from Tash and Gabe I rarely take my arthritis meds any longer coinciding with my last yearly physical I was not given the “we are watching your cholesterol” lecture.
How has TNB helped you reach your goals?
My goals are simple, I want my clothes to fit better and I want to feel better! TNB keeps me on track
What advice would you give to a person looking to join TNB?
